There's currently an opening for a permanent Senior Accountant to bring their knowledge and expertise to a growing company in the Wood & Furniture Manufacturing industry in the Brea, California area. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. This Senior Accountant role is with a company in the Wood & Furniture Manufacturing field and is located in Brea, California.Your responsibilities in this role- Offer involvement in various department-wide initiatives- Provide Balance Sheet account reconciliations- Administer Ad-hoc projects as necessary- Commitment to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process- Aid in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors- Review financial information such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc. and present analysis in a clear manner- Successfully collaborate with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, controls and provide support on special requests when necessary- Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP- Allocate and prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis reports for management
