Sr. Data Engineer - Dallas

We are seeking a Sr. Data Engineer to join our team in Dallas. This role involves working closely with data application teams and product owners to design and implement analytics solutions that provide valuable insights for better decision making. This is a long-term contract opportunity within the tech industry, offering a dynamic and collaborative work environment.Responsibilities:• Collaborate with source data application teams and product owners to design, implement, and support analytics solutions.• Implement data migration and data engineering solutions using Azure products and services, including Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Event Hub, Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Databricks, and traditional data warehouse tools.• Play a key role in the development lifecycle, which includes cloud engineering, infrastructure, network security, administration, data modeling, testing, CICD pipelines, performance tuning, deployments, and production support.• Provide technical leadership and collaborate within a team environment, while also having the capacity to work independently.• Be a part of a DevOps team that completely owns and supports their product.• Implement batch and streaming data pipelines using cloud technologies.• Lead the development of coding standards, best practices, and privacy and security guidelines.• Mentor others on technical and domain skills to create multi-functional teams
