- Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks
- Take preventive measures to confirm the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
- Lend a hand to the design of information and operational support systems
- Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure
- Collaborate with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
- Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
- Screen and analyze application performance for potential bottlenecks, specify possible solutions, and act jointly with developers to apply those fixes
- Deliver 2nd and 3rd level support
- Manage redundancy strategies, security, and backup
Requirements
- We are particularly looking for candidates with solid experience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks
- If you have experience with monitoring systems, you will be strongly preferred for this position
- Applicants who solid scripting skills are preferred
- You might be a good fit for this position if you have solid networking knowledge
- Applicants who have experience with virtualization and containerization are preferred
- Experience with automation software
- Cisco CCNP experience
- VMware experience
- Deep understanding of Active Directory
- Applicants with proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting various operating systems are preferred
