Robert Half is seeking candidates in the Cleveland, Ohio area on behalf of a client with an immediate User Experience (UX) Designer position. This is a permanent opportunity. As the User Experience (UX) designer, you will head user research, the administering of interviews and surveys of diverse populations, and the translation of results into sitemaps, wireframes, and design prototypes. Most importantly, you will create the overall functionality of the product and work tirelessly to make incremental improvements to deliver an exceptional user experience. The ideal candidate has a blend of UX research, UX/UI design and web/email/mobile design. Candidates MUST have a portfolio to showcase work.
Responsibilities:
- Helping out other team members as needed (QA, data entry, production updates, resizing of graphics, etc.)
- Collaborating with other members of the digital marketing team on the development of new initiatives
- Utilize results from user research and workflow analysis to make riveting experiences for users of a product
- Managing usability testing on prototypes or finished products to assess the quality of a user experience
- Building tools such as personas, usage scenarios, site maps, taxonomies, and wireframes
- Areas of focus may include content, controls, visual design, packaging, customer/technical support, branding, and other aspects of user experience
- Partnering with business users and application developers to translate requirements into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
Requirements
- Experience using Web Accessibility and testing tools (e.g. Lighthouse, Google Accessibility Developer Tools)
- Skilled in prototype/mockup software (e.g. Sketch, Balsamiq, Zeplin)
- Well versed in graphic design, video editing, web development, and photography applications such as Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong communication skills and able to receive criticism well
- A portfolio exhibiting UX (wireframes/prototypes/other UX artifacts) and visual design work
- Observant, accurate and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- To be successful in this position, you need to have strong interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, relevant experience
- Thorough understanding of design software applications and tools
- Wide ranging experience with research
- Practical knowledge of Personas
- UX/UI Design experience required
- Prior experience with email design

Salary : $85,000 - $95,000
