VP of Finance

Robert Half is actively seeking a dynamic and hands-on professional to join a growing team as the Vice President of Finance. As a pivotal member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in shaping the financial success of our company. We are looking for a proactive leader with a bachelor's degree, a CPA license (desired), and a strong background in financial planning and analysis, forecasting, budget creation, and compliance. The ideal candidate will actively engage in day-to-day accounting functions, and be enthusiastic about team development.Responsibilities:Financial Planning and Analysis:Lead the development and implementation of robust financial planning and analysis processes.Provide strategic insights through comprehensive financial analysis to support decision-making.Forecasting:Drive the forecasting process, ensuring accurate and timely predictions of financial performance.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate key business drivers into forecasts.Budget Creation:Develop and manage the budgeting process, collaborating with department heads to align financial plans with company objectives.Monitor budget variances and implement corrective actions as needed.Internal and External Reporting:Oversee the preparation of internal financial reports, offering valuable insights into the company's financial health.Ensure compliance with external reporting requirements, liaising with regulatory authorities.Compliance:Stay informed about financial regulations and industry standards, ensuring the company's adherence to all accounting and reporting requirements.Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.Day-to-Day Accounting:Actively participate in day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting principles.Team Development:Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.Cultivate a collaborative and results-oriented culture within the finance department.Strategic Financial Planning:Work closely with the executive team to align financial strategies with the company's growth objectives.Collaborate with other departments to support strategic initiatives.If you are a hands-on financial leader with a passion for team development and a desire to contribute to the day-to-day accounting functions, we encourage you to apply for the position of Vice President.
