**Overview:**
We are seeking an Assistant Manager for Roberts Ace Hardware in Chandler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hardware products and exceptional customer service skills.
**Responsibilities:**
- Assist customers in finding the right hardware products
- Provide product recommendations based on customer needs
- Process transactions accurately using cash handling procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves
- Answer customer inquiries in person and over the phone
**Qualifications:**
- Strong math skills for accurate transactions
- Experience with cash handling in a retail setting
- Knowledge of store management practices
- Ability to recruit and train new team members
- Leadership skills to guide and motivate the team
- Excellent phone etiquette for effective communication
- Familiarity with payroll procedures is beneficial
- Previous experience in retail or wireless sales is required
- Ability to develop and conduct training programs for staff
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.96 - $17.65 per hour
