About the team:
Robinhood’s Security Master/ Reference Data team owns critical operations for the clearing broker dealer, Robinhood Securities (RHS), including maintaining securities information. The team is lean but has a broad range of responsibilities in key areas! We are automation-focused and looking for people to improve our current processes and the ability to build new ones as new projects and businesses are spun up.
The preferred location for this position is in or around Robinhood's offices in Lake Mary, FL or Westlake, TX with in-office work capabilities, as may be required by management.
What you’ll do day-to-day:
- Setup, maintain and verify security, pricing, tradability and reference data.
- Work outside business hours to supported extended hours trading (As early as 3 AM ET)
- Independently analyze problems, synthesize information and collaboratively implement solutions
- Monitor and validate security reference data is feeding correctly from vendors (such as Bloomberg) to internal proprietary systems.
- Help resolve daily pricing issues such as missing prices, price variances, price challenges with vendor and stale prices
- Perform daily and weekly Proxy and Prospectus reconciliation.
- Maintain internal ETP lists for downstream ingestion.
- Develop and build strong working partnerships and strategic relationships within operations, compliance, trading, product and engineering teams
- Work on system enhancements to handle existing or new products.
- Communicate with all the involved internal and external parties.
- Investigate and resolve data discrepancies from multiple sources
About you:
- At least 5 years experience in the security master/reference data domain
- Methodical, attention to detail
- Experience working at a startup or fast paced brokerage where responses are measured in minutes, not weeks.
- Strong base knowledge in US Equities, pricing, IPOs, and reference data and Bloomberg Terminal.
- Must possess excellent oral/written communication and analytical skills.
- Detail oriented and ability to work under pressure and independently.
- Ability to independently analyze problems and collaboratively implement solutions
- Ability to effectively prioritize and adapt to changing environments.
- Previous experience interacting with engineering teams, as well as front, middle and back office groups

Salary : $58,000 - $73,400
