The Scheduler collaborates with our team to prepare and maintain project schedules to proactively stay on track and deliver effective, efficient and quality service to our client. This position requires a highly innovative individual whose responsibilities include conducting schedule analysis, creating reports, supporting all departments and phases or work as it relates to scheduling.

- Effectively function as key facilitator and expeditor throughout plan and schedule development.
- Build preliminary Master Schedules, using thorough CPM standards, while making the schedule easy to understand for its users.
- Utilize Primavera P6 software, when required.
- Produce Microsoft Visio schedule representations, as requested.
- Engage all project stakeholders, including trade partners, for a positive, collaborative scheduling process, focusing on project success.
- Prepare progress and variance reports, schedule narratives for internal and external stakeholders.
- ID significant schedule risks and impacts to project end date; report to Division & Operations.
- Assist Pre-Construction and Operations staffs in development of proposal and bid schedules.
- Coordinate with design team (architects and engineers) and build fully-integrated schedules, establishing mutual commitments and expectations.
- Work together with Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) Engineer to coordinate both schedules and models. (4D Scheduling)
- Approach all projects with a customer-service attitude. Build and foster positive relationships.
- Monitor, review and analyze schedule/status of construction during all project phases including analysis of any schedule deviations and corrective actions.
- Create resource and costs analysis reports.
- Analyze results of status input, review with site staff to determine any necessary schedule modifications.
- Assist with the implementation of Lean “Last Planner” techniques.
- Assist with Pull Planning exercises as necessary.
- Lead the entire scheduling process on assigned projects.
- Train and mentor projects staff, across multiple projects, to become more self-sufficient.
- Conduct project site visits and field verify progress
- Proficiently utilize Synchro 4D software to maintain, visually validate, and communicate schedule to all stakeholders
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job)
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering highly desired
- Minimum of 2 years of construction scheduling experience.
- Proficiency in the Last Planner System and LEAN principles
- Proficient use of Synchro Software preferred
- BIM modeling skills are highly desired.
- Field experience and general knowledge of construction practices/procedures desired.
- General knowledge of negotiated bids, hard bids, GMP contract processes
