What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supply Chain Manager position at Robotic Research?
RRAI’s Supply Chain Managers own the commercial relationship with our key vendors and manufacturing partners. They are responsible for cost negotiations, continuity of supply, risk management, driving operational and cost efficiencies through process or design change, as well overall project execution. SCMs must communicate effectively with the executive leadership, engineering, and production teams to ensure they meet the the needs of all groups effectively. They manage both R&D and production level supply needs and work in concert quality and engineering to find the best solutions to program needs.
· Collaborate with engineering and production teams to understand timeline and material needs for upcoming R&D projects
· Work closely with vendors to understand lead times, costs, and identify at risk components for future R&D and production needs.
· Help manage introduction of new technology and vendor capabilities to engineering
· Identify supply risks early and plan and execute risk mitigation to minimize the impact to operations
· Other duties as assigned

Travel Requirements:
•Domestic and international travel may be required up to 20%

- Excellent negotiation skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams and influence stakeholders to achieve assigned goals
- Professional experience with supply chain planning or deep technical understanding of technological systems and manufacturing
- Advanced modeling experience and creating data sets by collating data from multiple sources and teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present to senior executives.
- Advanced User of Microsoft Excel
- Other duties as assigned
- 5 Years of experience in supply chain planning, or product development
- Bachelor’s degree (Engineering degrees preferred but not required)
- Master’s degree preferred in business or engineering
- Ability to thrive and work in ambiguous environments
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Driven to execute and complete tasks with minimal oversight

Salary : $82,700 - $105,000
