Role:
Director of Marketing will lead the US Custom Biotech marketing team in this role, including developing the US market plan and/or launching programs to create/maximize demand. Leads or provides leadership for product/brand management, product launch, advertising, public relations, market research, pricing, forecasting, business development and product strategy implementation to achieve marketing objectives. Responsible for or supporting product lifecycle planning. Develops marketing strategies to ensure effective product placement relative to market opportunities. Develops marketing plans by translating these into operational and profit goals to achieve and/or enable market growth and objectives. Using primary, secondary, and syndicated market research approaches determines market conditions and preferences in local, regional, or national areas to determine potential products and services. Develops overall objectives and long-range goals of the Custom Biotech portfolio of products. Responsible for the development or provide input into all marketing deliverables for product commercialization and lead development of product labeling required for initial and global launch development. Coordinates the planning and execution of sales training for the Custom Biotech sales team. Provides input into Global Strategic Planning. Selects, develops, and evaluates employees to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Who You Are:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, advanced degree preferred
7 years relevant marketing or equivalent experience with demonstrated success
5 years management experience with demonstrated strong competency and proven track record in marketing management and leadership
Excellent oral and written communication skills including making impactful presentations
Problem solving skills
Ability to work in a regulated environment
Strategic planning and organizational skills
High levels of marketing proficiency and industry specific experience
