What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director, Strategic Customer Supply position at Roche?
We are looking for a Director to lead our high growth Strategic Customer Supply team. This role will be instrumental in achieving our goal to be our customers’ most trusted partner in providing premier diagnostics supply and fulfillment solutions. This leader inspires and empowers a customer-focused organization where every employee can achieve extraordinary outcomes for customers and patients every day. This leader serves through transformational leadership roles of Visionary, Architect, Coach and Catalyst (VACC), and takes accountability to actively model and practice agile ways of working.
This Director will have the following responsibilities:
- Build a collaborative and an agile environment with stakeholders including Sales, Roche Support Network, Commercial Demand & Supply, Order Fulfillment, Global Supply Chain, Marketing and Credit & Collections teams to ensure customers have the best experience from ordering to receiving Roche diagnostics products
- Develop strategic supply management programs that include operational metrics, risk management profiles, and performance improvement initiatives
- Ensure alignment and coordination with regulatory and safety compliance for supply and fulfillment operations
- Develop strategies for effective inventory management to support customer performance objectives
- Develop and execute an integrated demand to delivery strategy for our strategic customers. This includes demand planning, customer supply planning, order fulfillment, and logistics.
- Drive operational excellence through the analysis of customer feedback, operational and financial KPIs for assigned customers
- Lead the development of innovative and digital solutions in enhancing customer experience and operational performance
- Identify, execute and manage supply/logistical value added services for assigned customers
- Analyzes operational processes, escalation procedures and performs training needs assessments for identifying opportunities for supply and service delivery improvements to the customer
We are specifically looking for the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or technical discipline such as science or engineering
- 10 or more years related professional experience ideally gained within the diagnostics / medical device or related industries across various disciplines
- 5 or more years people leadership experience including cross-functional and multi-level teams
- Experienced in working in a global matrix environment
