SUMMARY
As a Software Quality Assurance & Testing Analyst, your excellent communication and coordination skills make you a key resource for the dissemination of change management requirements and implementation.

LOCATION: Riedman Campus - Rochester, NY
DEPARTMENT: Information Technology
SCHEDULE: Days
ATTRIBUTES
- Previous experience in software quality assurance and testing including writing test cases/scenarios from system requirements and defect management
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) a plus
- Experience using Quality Assurance tools (such as TestRail, Jira, Remedy, etc.) a plus
- Software programming experience a plus
- Strong analytical, computer and multitasking skills
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Previous experience in software quality assurance and testing including writing test cases/scripts from system requirements, validating test results, and managing defects is required.
- Previous experience writing and implementing project test plans including risk assessment, scoping testing, understanding team needs, etc. is required.
- Must be able to support multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while maintaining a quality focus on each.
- Must possess defined ability to interact with a variety of team members as a problem solver and have excellent written and communication skills.
- Ability to think outside the box is essential.
- Must have the ability to work independently and be self-directed with minimal guidance and assistance from management.
- Experience using Quality Assurance tools (such as TestRail, Jira, Ivanti etc.) a plus
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: L - Light Work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly; requires occasional walking, standing or squatting.
PAY RANGE: $65,000.00 - $85,750.00
