Document, implement, and manage cross-functional projects for the purchasing department in accordance with the company goals, standards, and objectives.
Essential Job Duties:
- Backup buyer, import, and data groups within the Purchasing department.
- Work with department and location management on Surplus, Excess, and Obsolete products.
- Work in Prelude and Cognos business intelligence software to run reports, make analyses, and implement management decisions.
- Assist in testing and maintaining Purchasing Department software modification requirements in Prelude and Cognos business intelligence software.
- Completing monthly inventory review and maintenance routines as assigned.
- Other special projects as assigned.
