Rock Solid Care Assistant

The role of a Rock Solid Care Assistant is to provide a positive, engaging, and safe environment for students before and aftercare school. Rock Solid Care follows the Stroudsburg School District Calendar.

The responsibilities of the Rock Solid Assistant are:

  • Engages with students in the morning and afternoon facilitate homework time, playing games, or other activities during free play
  • Assists with facilitating games, activities, and special theme days
  • Monitors when students arriving or departing and greets families for drop off and pick up
  • Assists with putting students on the bus in the mornings and getting students off the bus at the end of the day
  • Be a positive model and help students interact with each other in positive ways
  • Cover ACT 80 days (Stroudsburg school district)

Requirements

  • Clearances
  • Physical with TB Test
  • 12 hours of training
  • 18 years old

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.50 - $12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Morning shift

Experience:

  • Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

  • Stroudsburg, PA 18360 (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Stroudsburg, PA 18360: Relocate before starting work (Required)
