Description: Rockcastle Regional is seeking an Assistant Director for our Child Development Center. This position assists the Director in child care and child development for hospital employees’ children. Job duties include managing staff, interacting with parents, and marketing and financial duties. Must enjoy working with children and want each child to have the best possible experience.
The Assistant Director must be kind, patient, and loving, as the majority of their day is spent working with young children. Applicant must be a strong leader, effective communicator, very organized, detail-oriented, trustworthy, and possess the ability to manage a diverse group of children and staff, as well as communicate with parents. Additional administrative duties include staff scheduling and maintaining records. Applicant must have a comprehensive knowledge of required guidelines for state licensure and STARS rating, skilled in CPR, first aid, and other routine emergency treatments.

Qualifications: Director’s Credential, CDA, or a Bachelors in Child Development & Family Studies or a related field.
