Job Summary
The Cash Analyst for the Cash Application team applies physical and electronic payments received in-house. Payments must be applied correctly and promptly as mandated by our rules and regulations. The Cash Analyst audits our vendor to ensure that payments received and applied through our lockbox have been applied correctly. Outgoing wires are initiated on the Cash Application team, so a high level of attention to detail is required when a wire is requested.
Responsibilities
- Monitor lockbox payment applications
- Process client payments
- Handle payment forwarding to servicing partners
- Quote and process payoff requests
- Monitor and research outstanding checks
- Process daily deposits
- Print checks using internal payment systems
