The opportunity:

RRAH has a dynamic and supportive veterinary team looking for a well-qualified Assistant Hospital Administrator to help support the growth and development of our practice. The perfect candidate will be responsible for working alongside the Hospital Administrator and medical director to accomplish our growth and development goals and support our mission of fostering well-being in the community by tending to the human animal bond with compassionate medical care, emotional support for caregivers and community outreach.  

Duties and Responsibilities

Leadership duties/qualities include but are not limited to:

  • Practices Excellent Communication & Organizational Skills.
  • Ability to adapt and willingness to help the team under all circumstances.
  • Coordinating with all services to help organize regular team meetings and ongoing training.
  • Maintaining clear and respectful communications with all team members.
  • Fostering and continual improvement of positive culture.
  • Acts as a mentor to the entire team.
  • Promotes best practices in our industry.
  • Collaborate with the HA and MD in the development of operational functions including establishing and maintaining internal standard operating procedures.
  • Responsible for managing staff schedules and assisting the hospital staff as needed to maintain quality customer service.   
  • Collaborate with the HA on Marketing ideas and work with the hospital team to ensure appropriate marketing procedures are implemented.
  • This is not considered a remote position.

A qualified candidate will have minimum:

Education:

  • AA or bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience.

Experience:

  • Two years of experience working in a veterinary clinic.
  • Leadership experience preferred.

Compensation:

Qualified candidates can expect an excellent starting salary commensurate with experience.
