About the Role:

RockItCoin is seeking an Accounting Manager to manage functional accounting operations. As part of the management team, you will help maintain the infrastructure of our Finance department to support our rapid scaling. You will partner with our internal teams to develop stronger process solutions and utilize your experience navigating GAAP policy to implement internal controls. The successful candidate is process-driven, interested in crypto, has a passion for numbers, and gets a thrill from reconciling and creating new procedures to streamline processes and create efficiencies. This position has one direct report and will report directly to the VP of Finance.

What You Will Do:

• Lead financial operations team, including exchanging between fiat and digital currency and tracking cash logistics and armored car vendors.
• Create control policies and procedures.
• Firm reconciliation procedures over company’s cash movements and cost of goods sold calculations.
• Provide compliance reports to external regulatory agencies.
• Oversee, coach, and develop the accounting team.
• Lead all financial statement preparation, presentation, and retention, along with financial planning and analysis, budgeting forecasting and re-forecasting.
• Maintain all ledger reconciliations, capital computations, audit support, bookkeeping, and accounting due diligence.
• Prepare financials in accordance with GAAP.
• Daily reconciliation of checking and crypto balances.
• Prompt monthly closure of Company books and records.
• Assistance in and the development of forecasting growth projections to aid company decision-making.
• Analyze departmental data and create monthly KPI reports for management.
• Maintenance of business financial model.
• Lead the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting efforts.
• Other related tasks as assigned by the VP of Finance.

What We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 
• Proficient knowledge of QuickBooks is required.
• Must have intermediate experience in Microsoft Office Suite.
• 8 years of experience, preferably in the financial services sector and/or rapid growth organization with complex high-volume movements of cash.
• CPA and public accounting firm audit experience is a plus.
• Proven track record of hiring and mentoring Finance teams, managing performance, and improving knowledge/skills of team members. 
• Demonstrated expertise in reconciling a variety of balance sheet accounts.
• Budgeting and Forecasting experience is a plus.
• Experience managing foreign currency exposure is a plus.
• Knowledge of how to book digital assets on a balance sheet.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, manage time effectively, and own results.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-starter, ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
• Outstanding work ethic, integrity, and commitment.

• Monday – Friday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm CST
• Hybrid schedule with 3 days in office and 2 remote
