Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Assistant Underwriter to join our team. As an Assistant Underwriter, you will play a crucial role in supporting the underwriting process by collecting and analyzing data, assessing risk, and assisting with risk analysis.

Duties: Collect and review applicant information and financial documents - Assist with the underwriting process by evaluating the risk assessment - Conduct research and gather data to support underwriting decisions - Assist in preparing reports and summaries for senior underwriters - Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely completion of underwriting tasks - Assist in monitoring and managing the underwriting pipeline - Contribute to the development of underwriting guidelines and policies - Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to underwriting
