What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Support Lead position at Rockline Industries?
- Develop and implement improvements in warehouse methods in conjunction with the Distribution Continuous Improvement (CI) team.
- Act as interface and work with the CI team on new projects or updates to existing projects.
- Troubleshoot JD Edwards, DSI, and printer issues ensuring high efficiencies in the department.
- Maintain records by recording, reporting, and tracking KPI’s, in the trailer schedule in JD Edwards to ensure compliance with outside customers, such as Walmart.
- Effectively communicate with customer support administrators, teams, and carriers.
- Print and handle various warehouse documents such as bill of lading, pick tickets, packing lists, etc., ensuring accuracy for external and internal customers.
- Identify and communicate product shortages for shipments to ensure customer orders are on time and in full (OTIF).
- Build, approve, and assign orders to the Warehouse floor to ensure timely and accurate customer orders.
- Scan and file paperwork in Docushare for interdepartmental use.
- Checking drivers in and out of building by accurate driver check in sheets.
- Contribute to a cooperative working effort by demonstrating a willingness to perform other job-related work, as needed or requested
