Job Description You will develop, implement and maintain methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies. You will interface with design engineering in coordinating the release of new products. Estimate manufacturing cost, determines time standards and make recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines. You will maintain records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations. Main Responsibilities: Ownership of PCB EA processes. Design production floor layouts, processes that maximize efficiency and reduce waste. Developing and implementing process improvements and technological upgrades. Identify opportunities for automation/digitalization and implementation Initiate manufacturing technology innovations and oversee the implementation. Identify assembly equipment, tooling, and fixture requirements. Participate in the procurement, installation, and validation activities. Create Documented Manufacturing Instructions (MI). Lead cross functional teams to resolve issues that arise during builds. Ensure compliance to all production environmental, health, and safety requirements. Apply engineering problem solving skills and familiarity of Rockwell Automation systems to perform duties and responsibilities. Initiate the identification, development and implementation of cost reduction and process improvement projects. May lead a small team to complete these projects. Exhibit good organizational and interpersonal skills. Communicate effectively, both verbally and in written form, to a broad audience of varying technical and cultural background. Collaborate with or lead others from within and outside of the Manufacturing group to achieve common objectives. Troubleshooting skills and attention to details. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Use facts and logic to influence others. Productivity / cost saving activities Basic Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline. Preferred Qualifications: 5 years’ experience in engineering 2 years in team leadership or management Understanding of manufacturing processes with Printed Circuit Boards Ability to accept change and adapt to a variety of assignments in a fast-paced environment Constraint analysis and capacity analysis Lean and Six Sigma implementation in different areas of the plant Ability to influence change and build effective partnerships in a matrix environment Experience working in a large global company with responsibility for both direct and indirect reports Experience working with discrete assembly processes and new product design/development Excellent judgement and respect for confidentiality of information Capability for MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and Microsoft Outlook Ability to be self-directing, manage time and priorities effectively, take initiative, exercise good judgment and manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines Effective communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and collaboration skills Interest and ability to thrive in a high energy team environment with strong aptitude for interaction Working knowledge of ERP systems is essential, preferably SAP Varied experience in production operations and manufacturing facilities, including responsibility for multiple functional areas within operations We are an Equal Opportunity Employer including disability and veterans.
