In this role, you will serve as the Business Analyst for the customer. The Business Analyst has deep customer knowledge and an excellent ability to transform strategic intent into fully elaborated requirements in user stories, feature specifications and acceptance criteria. You will be helping to define the requirements critical to supporting the client's application modernization efforts and be part of a custom software development team. The selected candidate will work under minimal supervision supporting the Deposits business.
Essential Functions

Duties as assigned.
1. Monitor the health of the Deposit portfolio across different products and draw insights to optimize portfolio
2. Obtain quantitative and qualitative data of business processes to analyze, determine and promote data-driven decisions
3. Build models to segment portfolio across different metrics and access future trends
4. Support and track deposits campaign performance evaluations across existing members, including direct mail, email, call center, and branch channels.
5. Analyze data gathered from multiple sources to reconcile differences. Apply a consistent approach to data interpretation and performance measurement results.
6. Analyze and evaluate competitor data and industry trends to understand current business unit competitive posture.
7. Interpret analytic findings and formulate recommendations to share with key decision makers. Articulate findings and observations and make recommendations as appropriate.
8. Compile, assess and summarize complex information using Tableau, Business Object Reporting, Microsoft Excel and SQL programming
9. Design report visualizations in Excel / Tableau that provies aggregated statistics on operational activity to monitor health of the Deposits portfolio
10. Build new and modify existing database/ data-mart and business intelligence solutions to meet business unit objectives
11. Design, maintain, and document dashboards, reports, and benchmarks to alert business unites to monitor business and fluctuations
Educational and Experience
An equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Engineering or a related quantitative field is required.
• Two (2) year’s of experience in product acquistion or existing portfolio anlytics including but not limited to marketing analytics, statistical analysis, portfolio evaluation within a financial services environment is required. Deposits product experience preferred
• Ability to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Strong verbal and written communication, and putting together clear concise presentations
• Strategic influencing skills and the ability to drive agreement through intellect, interpersonal and negotiation skills across varying levels of leadership
• Hands-on skills in SQL, Tableau, R, Python and proficiency working with large dataset
• Expert skills presenting findings, conclusions, alternatives, and information clearly and concisely
•Statistical analysis experience, including A/B testing, time series and forecasting is required.
• Expertise in Data Warehouse and business intelligence associated tools are preferred.
• Ability to manage many initiatives simultaneously while providing progressive delivery.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred (ex. Pivot tables, macros, Vlookup, index/match)
