Job Description: Human Resources Coordinator
Position Summary:
This key role assists in the coordination of the employee health, welfare, and retirement plans. This position provides administrative support to the HR function as needed (e.g., correspondence generation, record keeping, file maintenance, HRIS entry) and carries out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: HRIS, employee relations, benefits, and compensation.
Essential Functions:
- Administering employee benefits programs including enrollments and terminations
- Processing transactions within our HRIS (new hires, terminations, changes to assignments etc.)
- Maintaining E-Verify/I9's within the Support Center and Stores
- Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources Department
- Maintaining records of personnel-related data in both paper and the database and ensure all employment requirements are met
- Redirecting HR related calls or distribute correspondence to the appropriate person of the team
Other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

Education/Experience:
Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or two years related experience and/or training.
Communication Ability:
Must be able to read and interpret documents, situations, and communications from diverse people
Math Ability:
Should be able to calculate figures and amounts and apply basic concepts of math.
Reasoning Ability:
Should be able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists; interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills:
Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of Ceridian Dayforce a plus.
Work Environment:
The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
