Job Description
We are currently seeking an individual for an IT Infrastructure Manager position in our corporate office located in Nashville, TN.
The infrastructure team at Rogers Group is responsible for datacenter, compute, storage, network, virtualization, Microsoft 365, DR, backup and recovery, information security, and automation initiatives. This position requires a strong understanding of all aspects of IT infrastructure and provides an opportunity to work with a broad range of technologies. This position will work with IT management in a leadership role to identify and address technology gaps, strategic goals and business opportunities impacted by infrastructure technology.
Requirements
- Expert of standard infrastructure components like virtualization, Linux, Windows, Storage, and Network technologies
- Strong background in information security best practices, patch management, vulnerability remediation, and incident response
- Familiarity implementing and maintaining automation and monitoring platforms
- Provide technical leadership in analyzing requirements, architecting, and implementing solutions
- Develop and promote modern architectural approaches that encourage innovation and added value to the business
- Build business cases and present IT recommendations for current and future projects
- Experience with budget planning and forecasting.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts and manage root cause analysis and resolutions.
- Build and lead highly skilled infrastructure teams. Create development plans, training agendas, and performance goals. Perform hiring, performance evaluations and ongoing development of engieneering staff.
- Communicate changes, problems, solutions to other technical staff
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 8-10 years’ experience in IT Infrastructure with a record of increasing responsibility. 3 years leadership experience.
- Microsoft, Red Hat, or VMWare certifications preferred (MCSE/VCP)
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or other technical discipline. Equivalent IT experience will be considered.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Capable of communicating complex technical issues and solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical peers.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule when necessary - including nights and weekends
Knowledge of these platforms are a plus
- Server – Windows Server, Red Hat, VMware
- Storage – PURE, Cohesity
- Network – Fortinet, SD-Wan, EMS, ZTNA
- Automation – Power Automate, Satellite Server (Ansible, ssh scripting), PowerShell
- Microsoft technologies – AD, DNS, Azure AD, InTune
