This position will be responsible for a bursar account, receiving and processing monetary transactions. The
Admissions/Enrollment Counselor will work effectively with students, faculty and staff in day-to-day operations, and assume responsibility in all areas as needed. This position will report to the Director of the Pryor Campus.
PRIMARY DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

PRIMARY DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provides information and advisement in academic areas to prospective students.
- Counsels and enrolls new and existing students.
- Serves as Lead concurrent advisor, advising most concurrently enrolled high school students.
- Responsible for being lead on admissions and will collaborate with admissions and enrollment management on new procedures and rules to remain in compliance.
- Receives and sends testing information to the appropriate departments.
- Administers placement and proctored testing.
- Maintains confidential student records and office files.
- Assists in supervision of student workers.
- Responsible for bursar account.
- Responsible for other duties as assigned by the Pryor Campus Director.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Proficient in MS Office, Excel & Word;
- Experience working in a fast-paced office environment;
- Ability to handle multiple projects;
- Self-motivated, flexible and service oriented;
- Strong organizational skills, excelled interpersonal skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality;
- Ability to recognize and resolve problems independently;
- Ability to work as a team leader, as well as a team member;
- Ability to be punctual and dependable.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 to 5 years experience in higher education;
- Experience in enrollment procedures.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Occasional prolonged sitting or standing.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds with or without minimal assistance.
- Stand or sit on a continual basis.
- Ability to operate computer equipment, copier, calculator and other office machinery.
REPORTS TO: Director of the Pryor Campus
SUPERVISION GIVEN TO: Student Workers
HOURS: Monday-Friday, 8:00-5:00 p.m. Special events may require evening &/or weekends.
POSITION: Professional Employee Designation / FLSA Exempt
