Summary

The Multimedia Manager will provide direction and design and oversee the development of all direct mail property wide. Responsible for performing analysis on direct mail campaigns, recommend campaign changes and maintain accurate records. This position develops and implements a successful, full-scale advertising and communications programs and actively manages the advertising processes between operating and marketing departments Responsible for development and implementation of marketing strategies to improve market share and increase casino revenues in accordance with strategic goals and objectives. The Multimedia Manager is responsible for content coordination, development, production, implementation and curation, social media engagement, and online consumer relations for a large hotel, casino resort brand across multiple channels including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and more. Responsible for content coordination, development, production, and implementation of website and social media content to ensure fresh and interactive content.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Manage on-property design, including, but not limited to conceptualization, coordination, and implementation of printed promotional support campaigns.
  • Create marketing strategy for gaming/hotel/restaurant/golf/travel center.
  • Content planning, creation, scheduling, and curation for social media in collaboration with internal business verticals and external marketing agencies/partners.
  • Obtain feedback from gaming/hotel/restaurant/golf/travel center personnel and marketing on promotional/direct mail.
  • Manages advertisement designs for social media, television, magazines, event books, coupons, program guides, etc.
  • Performs daily walk-throughs to ensure all signage is up to date casino-wide
  • Develop and implement strategic social media campaigns and digital media activations for a market-leading destination resort.
  • Oversight of content planning, creation, scheduling, and curation for social/digital media in collaboration with internal business verticals and external marketing agencies/partners
  • Manages and oversees website, work with our digital agency to continue pushing the brand in creative ways on the website.
  • Working with our media agency to ensure consumer relations and conversation monitoring – posting new content, engaging with posted comments, and resolving consumer inquiries in a timely manner on platforms.
  • Responsible for tasking, work order assignments, and utilization of marketing staff to ensure timeliness of projects and completion of goals assigned.
  • Real-time social media coverage and photography for on-property events (e.g., New Year’s Eve, special events, concerts)
  • Contributes to ideas to grow existing business and expand into new business opportunities.
  • Anticipate and react to changes in competition, planning assumptions and will alter plans as necessary.
  • Coordinate all marketing plans and activities with casino marketing.
  • Monitors direct report performance standards and holds marketing team accountable for performance.
  • Foster continued growth of highly engaged social media communities using Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Snapchat, blogs, video, apps, paid media, and other digital tools/properties
  • Must be able to work with each profit center associated with Rolling Hills Casino and Resort to maximize profits.
  • Develops and implements internal and external communication.
  • Assists in the planning and execution of property advertising plan by working directly and staying in constant communication with all department heads.
  • Oversees the development and production of monthly direct mail programs.
  • Develop a marketing team that will be capable, but is not limited to training programs, individual development plans and noting their progress.
  • Responsible for working and assisting with other marketing projects including, but not limited to, promotions, events, entertainment, trade shows, research, cross training, cross marketing, public and community.
  • Coordinating with all internal departments, external vendors and/or agencies as required.
  • Manages placement and maintenance of all internal signage, digital or print.
  • Provides a traffic plan for radio, TV, print, digital, outdoor and any other marketing avenues.
  • Enhances the organization's reputation as an effective and progressive community partner by maintaining an awareness of emerging media practices, participating in educational opportunities, reading trade publications, exploring innovative media opportunities, and participating in activities to raise Rolling Hills Casino’s profile in the surrounding community.
  • Executes media plans by determining media availability to include, but not limited to, print, radio, out-of-home, cable and broadcast television, new/online media, value added packages, outdoor and bonus weights, negotiating with media vendors to establish promotional concepts and activities, creating media plans, preparing reports summarizing media specifications and costs, and providing plans and reports to management.
  • Manages purchase requests, budget allocation, budgeting, vendor contact, etc.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities

This job is a manager level position that requires the ability to develop, coach and grow new talent. Oversees 2-4 direct reports.

 

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university and five years directly related experience in marketing management, such as in an ad agency, public relations firm, or corporate marketing department, including project management and supervision of personnel; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Creativity, excellent writing and editing skills, and expertise in advertising required. Understanding of Adobe InDesign, Macromedia Flash, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, and Illustrator software a must. Three to five years of relevant traditional and digital media experience

 

Language Skills

Ability to speak and communicate highly effectively before groups of customers or employees of

the organization. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance

 

Mathematical Skills

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

 

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Gaming license issued by the Paskenta Gaming Commission.
