Position Summary
This role requires a person who has high energy, incredible organizational skills and a passion for training users and creating technical documentation and walkthroughs. Working hand in hand with multiple departments, they will support internal and customer facing content management and training. This individual must adapt to change resulting from a fast growing and successful company and must fit culturally, be honest, hard-working, and focused on the success of the business.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain the online support pages through e-learning documents and video walkthroughs with step by step instructions.
- Create In-App walkthrough and user guides describing application functionality
- Work cross functionally with Product Managers, Engineering and Marketing to ensure success of software rollouts to Law Enforcement Agencies and their users
- Create internal release notes
- Analyze user behavior and application usage to find opportunities to educate users
- Write, publish, and maintain high-quality internal technical education content
- Organize existing content, identify needs, and lead efforts to fill any gaps
- Support and collaborate with our Customer Trainer to identify and create training materials
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience relevant or related to associate/customer education/training
- 3 years relevant or related to product management/technical writing/product training
- Knowledge of learning management and ticketing systems, with specific experience using Zendesk preferred
- Familiarity with In-App discovery software like Pendo or WalkMe
- Familiarity with Product analytics software like UXCam or Hotjar
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the abilities to build trust quickly, teach others, and relate to individuals at all professional levels
