Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Manage the functionality and efficiency of UNIX-based servers
• Install and configure web and application server software
• Implement security, integration, and configuration management of software residing on servers.
• Troubleshoot server and software issues
• Hardware, software, and network troubleshooting
• RedHat 7, Virtual and physical networking configuration
• Enterprise administration, including workstation and server
• ACAS/Nessus or similar vulnerability scanner familiarity
• Application hosting experience

Qualifications and Experience:

Required:

5 years Unix or Linux web/systems administration required
IAT LEVEL II (CompTIA Security ce) certification required

Desired:

Knowledge of DISA STIGS and Security Policies desired.
Server administration with any of the following desired ColdFusion, Tomcat, Oracle WebLogic, Oracle Application Server, and/or Apache HTTP

Education/Experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline is preferred.

 

Security Clearance:  

• Active TS/SSBI clearance preferred or an active secret clearance and the ability to obtain a TS/SSBI clearance.
