As the Payroll Manager - Team, a part of Global Business Services (GBS) Finance Operations, you will manage a team of 9 providing payroll services to 6,000 Rolls-Royce North American employees (Canada and US) and administer corporate card and purchasing card programs. The Payroll & Expense operation area will operate within the Hire to Retire Operational Services for Human Resources and Payroll but also be an integral link to the Finance Operations areas which provide transactional finance support for and on behalf of Rolls-Royce Finance and the wider business. You will travel up to 5% domestically and internationally.

Key Accountabilities:
- Manage department responsible for paying more of 6,000 employees in the 7 Rolls-Royce divisions in US and Canada including support for all questions related to payroll
- Utilizing ADP, SAP and analysis, ensure legal and statutory compliance for both US and Canada concerning payroll taxes filings for each county, state and country. Also, ensure all general ledger accounts related to Payroll, Corporate Card and P-Card are reconciled to ADP and SAP in accordance with Rolls-Royce Balance Sheet Policy
- Administer corporate card and purchasing card programs for the 12 Rolls-Royce divisions in US and Canada, complete compliance reviews to ensure adherence to the policies and answer all questions related to Corporate Card and P-Card Program
- Ensure confidentiality of employee data is safe and secure, organized and properly stored related to Workday, P&K, ADP Workforce Now, Concur and upon request, provide adhoc reporting, support for business needs and urgent payroll inquiries
- Responsible for recruiting, training, coaching, developing and mentoring employees while maintaining a high functioning team with a focus on customer service and continuous improvement

Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience, OR
- Master’s degree/CPA with 3 years of experience, OR
- JD/PhD
- Must have 4 years of previous payroll experience and 2 years of supervisory experience
- In order to be considered for this position, you must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident

- Canadian payroll knowledge
- Conversational French speaker
