Job Description/Role
Here at Rome Grinding Solutions, we are seeking a skilled, enthusiastic, and determined engineer to join our team. Our engineers maintain high quality and design standards. You will be responsible for working on all stages of our production cycles, from research and design to manufacturing, installation, and evaluation. You will also be responsible for improving production processes and efficiency as well as maintaining and developing high standards of safety. We are seeking a creative individual with the ability to develop innovative solutions to our clients' needs. Rome Grinding Solutions is looking for a diligent and hardworking employee with high levels of efficient and effective communication along with a keen eye for detail and problem solving.
Responsibilities
- Designing new and innovative products that fulfill requirements of projects.
- Identifying and analyzing problems or bottlenecks and developing solutions to resolve them.
- Conducting research to improve and innovate product designs.
- Creating designs and drawings using CAD.
- Estimating budgets and time scopes for projects.
- Writing technical documentation.
- Ensuring that products meet quality standards.
- Collaborating with other departments to improve the production process.
- Working with other engineers in a team based environment
Skills/Qualifications
- B.S. degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering preferred
- Ability to work in a collaborative setting
- High standard of excellence with product completion
- Excellent computer skills, including MS Office
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain and teach methodologies
- Understanding of manufacturing methods and procedures
- Enthusiastic and reliable
- Willing to go above and beyond to ensure customer and company satisfaction
- Goal driven in a process focused environment
