What are the responsibilities and job description for the Visual merchandiser position at Ron Jon Surf Shop of Fla., Inc.?
This Visual Merchandising position full time with a set schedule and two days off in a row. We also offer associate discounts, Paid Time Off, 401K plan along with medical, dental & vision insurance.
Duties / Responsibilities :
Quickly and effectively stock, merchandise and display store inventory.
Work effectively and positively with Sales Associates and SRAs on daily projects.
Ability to maintain pleasant relations with customers.
Ability to work effectively under stressful situations (i.e. dealing with multiple customers and employees while attending to merchandising duties).
Rotation of mannequin apparel to promote new and seasonal merchandise.
Notification to appropriate departments / people concerning stock levels on floor.
Apply signage to any sale or promotional merchandise (check In-Store-Sales-List weekly)
Coordinate flow of goods to and from stockroom.
Communicate with Store Management and appropriate Corporate Departments on merchandise issues.
Required Skills / Duties :
Must show strong register skills and high level of customer service skill and product knowledge.
Ability to use computer inventory system to run reports and analyze information for ordering of goods.
Ability to maintain a positive work attitude and promote enthusiasm amongst co-workers.
Must be able to push and pull racks up to 50 pounds and lift cartons or boxes up to 35 pounds.
Must be able to be stand / walk for extended periods of time.
