Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Arkansas & North Louisiana (RMHCAR-NLA) seeks an inspiring, compassionate and hospitality focused Guest Services Associate.

o PART TIME – up to 10 - 20 hours per week

o EVENINGS 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm/WEEKENDS 8:00 am 5:00 pm

o $12.50/hour ($1.00 differential for bi-lingual skills)

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Arkansas & North Louisiana is looking for a dependable, caring, responsible individual for our front desk at the Ronald McDonald House located in Little Rock, Arkansas.

This dynamic individual will serve as the daily point of contact and support for all guest families during their stay. The successful applicant will be a people person who is welcoming and compassionate, able to multi-task, think on your feet, adapt, and find new ways to make our guest experience even better.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities Include:

− Front desk management, including answering phones, supporting volunteers, greeting visitors, donors, and community stakeholders.

− Manage guest registration process: check in/check out

− Oversee donation drop offs.

− Provide on-site support for all programs and activities.

− Assure adherence to policies and processes that maintain the well-being of staff, volunteers and guests.

− Provide oversight and support guests using kitchen and all common spaces.

Other Responsibilities

− Maintain the general cleanliness and orderliness of the RMH.

− Maintain security protocols.

− Provide daily summary of activities to ensure consistent communication and follow up between shifts.

− Adhere to all policies, including donation acceptance policies.

− Assist with other duties as assigned.

Experience Required:

Requires at least two years of work experience in a hospitality position that involves interaction with the public with progressive responsibilities.

Skills Required:

• Enthusiastic with excellent customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail; good analytical and problem solving skills.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Computer proficiency, including email, Word and Excel, and database management.
• Ability to work well under pressure, meeting multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities.
• Highly organized, creative, energetic and collaborative team player

Educational Requirements:

• High School diploma required. All applicants are required to pass a thorough background check.
