RoNetco Supermarkets, operator of nine ShopRite locations in Sussex, Morris, and Warren Counties is interviewing to fill department management positions in appetizing/deli/food service. Applicants must be comfortable working with food, providing excellent customer service, and be available to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
The department manager’s goal is to maintain a neat, clean, and visually appealing department that provides excellent customer service. The appetizing department manager is responsible for all of the safety, security and assets in the appetizing/deli/food service department.
The department manager oversees the store operations and activities of the appetizing/deli/food service staff while ensuring production processes, quality control and food safety guidelines are met. The department manager must maintain a high level of productivity from the appetizing staff in food preparation, deli, international cheese department, and catering. This position needs to have the ability to communicate effectively with management and staff throughout multiple departments and shifts.
Our ideal candidate has:
· Knowledge of ordering and catering
· Experience with gross profits and managing shrink (product loss)
· Experience with inventory and sales
· Knowledge of product displays and presentation
