Ronpak has an exciting opening as a 1st shift Make Ready Clerk at our South Plainfield, NJ plant.
The make ready clerk reports to the Manufacturing Supply Chain Manager and assumes a supporting role in the overall coordination of customer orders as they relate to the production schedule. The Make ready clerk is primarily responsible for pre-production duties on the production floor but will engage in all functions of production planning as directed by the Supply Chain Manager.
Essential Job Functions:
· Enter daily production #’s into database
· Send out daily production report & variance notification
· Enter scrap totals
· Post updated schedules at machines along with Pallet Labels
· Print required paperwork and assemble production baskets.
· Create and/or print labels as needed.
· Create purchase orders for printing plates.
· Order printing plates based on work orders, order based on usage.
· Receive printing plates and file in appropriate folders.
· Provide needed information for inventory entries.
· Perform cycle counts as scheduled.
· Assist with Annual inventory.
