RoofCrafters is seeking a knowledgeable and self-motivated Roofing Field Foreman for our Jacksonville territory.
Requirements:
Roofing experience IS MANDATORY!- Applicants must be self-driven, motivated, and able to self-manage
- Proven prior experience as a manager with references
- Knowledge of permitting and inspections.
- Exceptional communication and intrapersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
- Strong ability to problem-solve on the go
- Leadership, management, and project management skills
- Organizational and time management skills
- Computer and Microsoft Office Skills
- Capability of reading blueprints and understanding them is a plus
Duties:
Supervise many production/service crews- Planning and executing a successful project
- Work with the Project Manager and Production Manager in ordering materials for projects
- Check and address violations of OSHA safety guidelines.
- Daily communications with the customer and employees
- Planning jobs for labor crews
- Responsible for doing pre-job & post-job inspections
- Responsible for maintaining and managing job paperwork.
- Verify installations are correct; per manufacturer specification and building code
- Capable of setting up and climbing ladders many times a day
- Able to park and pull trailers (Big-tex)A valid state driver’s license (in good standing).
