Job Summary: Job responsibilities include receiving/inspecting inbound material, maintaining location codes in warehouse, pulling/loading walk-in customer orders, pulling/loading deliveries, warehouse organization, warehouse cleanliness, and participating in cycle counts and full inventories. This position will work directly with the Warehouse Manager regarding material shortage/damage, assignment of location codes and target tasks. Must be able to consistently lift up to 80lbs. Business hours are 5:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday. Position consists of a daily 8-hour shift with overtime as needed. Experience in building materialsindustrypreferred

Responsibilities:

• Maintain overall appearance, cleanliness, and organization of the warehouse.
• Receive and properly check in all materials
• Put away, organize, and retrieve inventory for shipments
• Maintain warehouse location codes
• Assist with overall inventory and loss control
• Responsible for trash and waste removal.
• Build and wrap pallets for secure shipments
• Assist with quarterly cycle counts
• Assist with annual full inventory counts
• Inform branch or operations manager of any maintenance needs in the facility or outdoor areas
• Responsible for overall cleanliness and appearance of all outdoor storage areas and parking areas
• Responsible for arranging empty pallet removal
• Load, unload, and prepare the delivery vehicles
• Assist warehouse manager with assigned tasks
• Adhere to all safety policies, including wearing all required personal protective equipment

Requirements:

• Warehouse/Inventory experience a plus
• Forklift experience preferred
• Ability to stand, bend, twist and climb ladders throughout shift
• Involves constant movement throughout the entire warehouse and must be able to repeatedly lift up to 80lbs.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• High School or equivalent preferred
• Must always maintain a professional appearance.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must arrive at assigned start time daily.
• Positive attitude and team player
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and pass an E-Verify check
