Roosevelt University College of Science, Health, and Pharmacy’s Doctor of Pharmacy’s Department of Clinical & Administrative Sciences, Schaumburg, IL, is seeking applications for an Academic Fellow, appointed as a full-time year-round non- tenure track Instructor position. This faculty position reports to the Academic Fellowship Director and includes teaching, scholarship, and service responsibilities. In addition, the clinical responsibilities of this position will be consistent with those obtained during a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice residency. This position is a 2-year visiting faculty appointment, designed to provide training and experience to prepare the individual for a full clinical faculty appointment.
Position responsibilities include teaching and coordinating assigned didactic courses, supporting clinical labs and workshops, and, additional teaching as assigned by the Director, rotating through assigned clinical practice sites, serving as a preceptor and role model for students, mentoring pharmacy and medical residents, collaborative clinical and academic research or other scholarly activity appropriate for a non-tenure track position, and service to the department, college, university, and community.
