What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server/Bartender position at Rooster and the Pig?
We are looking for a seasoned F&B server/bartender to provide an excellent guest experience. A good candidate will be able to provide thoughtful, efficient, and friendly service in the dining room while being able to jump behind the bar a couple of days a week to execute a simple, yet carefully curated bar menu for our lounge. Compensation includes salary and tips.
Responsibilities
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve food and drinks
- Use Point of Sale system to record orders, communicate to the BOH and process payments from customers
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Skills
- Resume and proven working experience as a server / bartender
- Good knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Computer literacy
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep organized, prepared and clean
