Title: Lab Technician

Job Description:
- Research workers are responsible for completing tasks associated with research experiments supporting several initiatives within the Johnston Research Center. This position will present opportunities to develop a strong understanding of lab and field research along with expanding knowledge of the seed industry and some of the technologies involved.
- Applicants should plan on working about 40 hours a week with additional hours possible during peak times. Training will be provided.
Research workers will be responsible for duties such as:
- Lab work associated with insect rearing
- Greenhouse work with insects
- Other lab work associated with ag research
- Miscellaneous tasks as needed
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 5x8
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
