Hourly: $19-20/hr
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:45 am-4:15pm. Work demands may require alternative and/or additional working hours based upon departmental and organizational needs.

Responsibilities:
· Arrive ready to work and clocked-in no earlier than 7:45am
· Attend morning huddles at 7:50am in the Home Access office
· Be able to lift tools, supplies and job site materials in excess of 75lbs, with assistance when necessary
· Take direction from the Construction Manager to perform job tasks
· Use construction skills and experience to lead their team through the work being performed on assigned projects
· Use time management skills to manage the time spent on the job-site and the tasks being performed.
· Communicate effectively with customers to deliver the highest level of service throughout assigned projects. This may include discussions such as: scheduling work times, assisting with finish product selections or discussing issues/changes that may occur during the project.
· Communicate with the Construction Manager to keep him/her up-to-date on the project's progress and to discuss any issues that may affect the scope of work.
· Purchase materials and supplies as is necessary for assigned projects
· Close out projects with customers, collecting all necessary signatures and payments
· All team members are responsible for maintaining clean work sites and work vehicles
· Have a good attitude and willingness to be taught new skills
Requirements
Minimum Education & Experience:
High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required. 3 years of construction experience, with a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory/lead position or 5 years of construction experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
· Strong leadership, time-management and creative problem-solving skills
· Framing: Applicable understanding of framing techniques. Able to size, cut and build out wall and header structures.
· Carpentry: Able to install cabinetry, including sinks and countertops. Able to size, cut and install finish trim work. Ability to install other finish and pre-finish materials, to specifications, such as: Corian, FRP panels and tile backer boards.
· Drywall: Able to perform drywall patch and finishing work. Able to hang and finish drywall.
· Painting: Skilled to perform essential painting task such as: ceilings, walls, doors and trim. Applicable understanding of wood staining a plus, but not a requirement.
· Flooring: Understanding of subfloor and supporting structures. Ability to install vinyl plank flooring. Ability to install tile a plus, but not a requirement.
· Plumbing: Must be able to perform, to code, drain (re)configurations, waterline installations, toilet installations, shower valve installations and all finish plumbing hardware installations for bathrooms.
· Electric: Must be able to perform device changes, wiring installations to code and have a solid understanding of a homes' electrical panel. Ability to perform panel work a plus, but not a requirement.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands are typical of those that must be met by the employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the position. Requires normal vision, hearing, and/or the ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing. Occasionally lifting, pulling or pushing up to 75 pounds. There will be continuous walking and sitting or standing. Reasonable accommodations may be available for individuals with disabilities upon employee written request.
Working Environment:
Up to 100% of work week maybe on the road, traveling to jobsites, suppliers and other necessary places to perform job functions. This position performs physical labor, in customer's homes.
