Hourly: $25-28/hr
Hours: 2nd shift Mon-Thurs: 4:00m-2:45am (4, 10's). Occasional overtime.

Responsibilities:
• Machine parts per specifications using various machining equipment such as CNC Machining Center(s), CNC Lathe(s), drill presses, etc.
• Study sample parts, blueprints, drawings, and engineering information to determine methods and sequences of operations needed to fabricate products, and determine product dimensions
• Adjust machine parameters to achieve optimal machine performance for each job. The goal is to match or beat quoted setup / cycle times on job routers without sacrificing quality.
• Program, set up, adjust, operate, and maintain all the basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools to perform precision machining operations
• Measure, examine, and test completed units to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments
• Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines. Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.
• Properly clock in and out of each job processed via data collection hardware (Start time and stop time). Physically sign off on job routers once work has been completed for applicable work center.
• Ability to read manufacturing blueprints / drawings / layouts
• Track individual and/or company (KPIs) / metrics. Strive for daily improvements
• Maintain clean and safe working environment
• May work at different workstations as production needs require.

Requirements
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 5 years' experience running/operating CNC Machining Centers and Lathes in metal fabrication environment preferred.
• Must be able to effectively solve problems and troubleshoot CNC Machining Centers and CNC Lathes
• Understanding of manufacturing tools and their proper use (Hand tools, DA sander, file, grinder, various disc abrasives, calipers, tape measure, etc.)
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections
• Flexible and adaptable to change jobs and material as needed to keep jobs flowing
• Assures compliance with appropriate safety practices and procedures and with applicable federal, State, and local codes, OSHA regulations and requirements
