Warehouse Sanitation - 1st shift - $17/hr

Payrate: $17/hr

Hours: Monday-Friday 6:30am-3pm (OT sign ups available first come first serve)

Essential Job Duties:

1. Understand facility cleaning and safety procedures.
2. Comply with all safety policies and procedures in accordance with Company, Local, State, and Federal OSHA rules and regulations.
3. Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) for a food plant and all applicable regulatory, customer and company requirements (policies, procedures, regulations).
4. Perform basic math.
5. Read and write well.
6. Communicate well with others verbally.
7. Operate steam and high-pressure hoses.
8. Understand and carry out directions and procedures related to cleaning and sanitation.
9. Work in a TEAM environment.
10. Work in hot, cold, wet, dry, and noisy environments.
11. Take direction from others.
12. Accurately record traceability information on production documentation either manually or via an electronic scanning system.
13. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
14. Perform scheduled sanitation tasks as outlined by the Master Sanitation Schedule.
15. Accurately record labor hours against work orders for proper costing of products.

Requirements

1. Safely cleaning and sanitizing equipment, tools, and facility to ensure all soil and contaminates are removed per procedures.
2. Disassembling and reassembling equipment as directed.
3. Following sanitation schedules to conduct and document routine cleaning of the facility and production line.
4. Using and documenting chemical use to stated concentrations and for appropriate applications.
5. Verifying and documenting that correct chemicals and concentrations are used and that cleaning and sanitizing is complete to deliver equipment and infrastructure that is clean and passes all micro indicator tests.
6. Conducting yourself and ensuring your subordinates (if applicable) conduct themselves in a manner consistent with company mission, values, code of ethics, policies, and other standards of conduct
7. High School Education and 2–4 years of related experience or training in the food or beverage industry.
8. Must be able to speak, understand, read, and write English.
9. Candidates receiving offers of employment will be required to complete a post-offer, pre-placement background check and drug screen.
10. Heavy lifting performed in a fast paced shop environment.
11. Regularly required to stand, bend and reach.
12. May work at different workstations as production needs require, or shift from one station to another, during the packing process.
