What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender-catering Server position at Roots?
Are you passionate about customer service and willing to ensure guests have a great experience at our special events? If so, you would be an outstanding member of our busy events team. We need someone welcoming and attentive to serve food and drinks to guests, clear plates and silverware, and make sure any special guest needs or requests are taken care of. Our team members need to have a team-first approach since you'll be working closely with other servers, banquet captains, event coordinators, event managers, and kitchen staff to ensure events run smoothly. Ideally, our next catering tram member has experience in food service or hospitality. If this describes you, please apply as soon as possible
You will make between $17 and $25 base wage per hour (depending upon experience) plus:
1. Up to 13 days of Paid Time Off Per Year (1 day off per 160 hours of work). PTO has a cash value
2. $1 per hour wellness allowance

Compensation:$17 - $25 hourly
Responsibilities:- Clear plates, replace silverware, and be mindful of needs guests have
- Walk around the room serving guests appetizers, meals, side dishes, drinks, and other items as requested
- Verify that you and your team members are following relevant food handling safety requirements
- Assist with serving drinks by, carrying coffee pots, water pitchers throughout the room, refilling guests' cups and glasses as needed
- Provide excellent service to all guests from start to finish of special events
- Outstanding time management and organizational skills
- Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification (GED)
- Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience
- Display superior communication and interpersonal skills interacting with guests and coworkers
- Food service industry experience is highly desired
- If you are able to bar tend, TIPS certification a MUST
