What are the responsibilities and job description for the Utility Worker position at Rootstaff?
Duration : 4 Months Contract (Possibility of Extension)
Shift : 1st shift position Monday thru Friday/ 8 Hours per day
Education/Experience Requirements:
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· 2 years of Warehouse experience
· 2 years of inventory knowledge
· Valid state motor vehicle operator’s license for forklift truck preferred.
· At least two years of work experience in a warehouse required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Reads and understands operation instructions as defined by work documentation.
· Test operation of machines periodically.
· May fix issues that occur during shift.
· Checks output to identify any machine related issues or flaws.
· Keeps records of approved and defective units or final products.
· Uses measurement tools, such as caliper and micrometer.
· Maintains a safe and clean working environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 per hour
