Rootstock and our companion restaurant The Daily Draft, in the heart of Downtown Woodstock, seeks Line Cook and Dishwasher who wants to grow with a fast pace from scratch restaurant that specializes in contemporary American Regional cuisine


Rootstock is known for its Creative Menu, Wine Dinners, Whiskey Dinners, Atmosphere, and Fun Staff.


The Daily Draft is an upscale Sports Bar/Restaurant like no other!


The Chef’s Emphasis is on Freshness, Quality, and Creativity. We are looking for individuals who are relaxed and not afraid to work with an Executive Chef and staff to express their own culinary ideas and creations.


Job Brief


We are seeking someone with a great attitude and work ethic, is punctual and willing to learn. Unlimited potential to grow with the company and learn other roles for advancement.


Responsibilities


  • Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies.
  • Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces).
  • Clean up station and take care of leftover food.
  • Stock inventory appropriately.
  • Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion.
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.


Requirements And Skills


  • Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.
  • Familiar with industry’s best practices.
