Job Summary: Performs accessioning, specimen processing, clerical and customer service duties in the Clinical Laboratory following established policies and procedures with minimal supervision. Performs or assist with CLIA-waived or moderately complex patient testing duties in the clinical laboratory that produce quality results#accurate, timely, appropriate and useful. # Minimum Qualifications: # Education:# High School diploma or equivalent. # Experience:# None required. One year in a laboratory setting preferred. Current clinical education in laboratory science or Associate/Bachelor degree in biology /microbiology preferred. # Licensure/Certification:# None required. # Primary Source Verification (if applicable): N/A # Knowledge/Skills:# Must be capable of operating laboratory equipment. Knowledge of medical terminology and standard office equipment, such as telephones, fax machines, computers. Must be able to work efficiently under stressful conditions and time constraints.
