The Rose Andom Center, Colorado’s first family justice center, improves the lives of domestic violence victims by facilitating better access to services and staff of community organizations and government agencies in a single, safe location. At the Rose Andom Center organizations and agencies will work together under one roof to provide for the needs of individuals and families affected by domestic violence
Status: Full Time-Exempt position
Hours: 40 hrs./week, Monday through Friday, with occasional evening or weekend hours
Reports to: Executive Director
Salary range: $65,000 to $68,000
Job Summary: Under the supervision of the Executive Director, this position provides leadership, management, and oversite of the direct service programs at the Rose Andom Center. The Program Director oversees the Center’s Navigation, Resource Advocacy, Children & Youth Services, and Volunteer & Outreach programming. Working closely with the program coordinators, the Program Director performs continual process improvement to ensure efficient and effective service delivery. Additionally, this position works closely with onsite partners and community agencies to provide the highest quality of services for clients of the Rose Andom Center. This position fosters coordination, collaboration and teamwork among staff and partners, instilling a commitment to providing high quality, trauma-informed, and innovative services for domestic violence victims and their children.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise program coordinators for Navigation, Volunteer & Outreach, Child & Youth Services and Resource Advocacy, carrying out the mission in alignment with the family justice center model.
- Oversee development of Pathways and Camp Hope programming, working with the Child & Youth Services Coordinator to implement the goals of the program.
- In coordination with Executive Director, make and implement recommendations for areas of improvement and programmatic expansion, including staffing needs and structure. Provide recommendations to the Rose Andom Center’s Mission, Capacity, & Growth Board Committee.
- Develop supportive and collaborative relationships with Rose Andom Center partner agencies, improve opportunities for nurturing and sustaining those relationships, including organization of partner meetings and feedback opportunities.
- Help identify and cultivate opportunities for expanded partnerships to better serve clients accessing the Rose Andom Center.
- In collaboration with Executive Director, develop and implement evaluation and outcome measures to provide data regarding impact with clients.
- In collaboration with program coordinators, identify and coordinate training opportunities for staff, volunteers, and partners, including on-boarding and orientation for new staff, as well as on-going staff development and cross training among partner agencies.
- Facilitate meetings between partner agencies, staff and other community agencies to maintain a quality of excellence in victim service delivery.
- As appropriate, develop opportunities to convene meetings with other victim service providers and community organizations to explore and address trends, needs and resources to better address gender-based violence.
- In collaboration with the Volunteer & Communication Coordinator, continue to develop volunteer and intern opportunities to support the services of the Rose Andom Center.
- Explore community stakeholder and/or policy groups that the Rose Andom Center would benefit from participation on (I.e. MDHI, Human Trafficking/ DATA, COVA); work with Executive Director to prioritize participation.
- Assist with community outreach, public speaking, and public education as needed.
- Help ensure accurate tracking of victim services delivered and the ability to provide thorough and timely data collection for grants and other reporting requirements.
- Provide employee performance evaluations with relevant staff.
Job Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree in human service-related field. Master’s degree strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a human service-related setting.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with victims and/or demonstrated knowledge of domestic violence dynamics and crisis intervention.
- Knowledge of the criminal justice system as it relates to domestic violence intervention and related sexual assault.
- Experience evaluating programs through qualitative and quantitative data tracking.
- Strategic, clear thinker who can communicate effectively to a variety of stake holders.
- Familiarity with the Family Justice Center movement and model of service delivery.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to prioritize and work independently, while providing leadership to a strong collaborative team with a culturally diverse team of staff, volunteers, partner agencies and clients.
