What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Kennel Technician position at Rose City Animal Clinic?

We are looking for a leader who has a team-centered approach but also willing and able to jump in and help staff when/if needed in all areas of the kennel department.
Duties and Responsibilities of Kennel Attendants
- Overseeing the care of patients and making sure their areas are clean
- Daily charges being entered and accurate
- Team-centered approach to on-tasks, protocols in place, to-do list items being accomplished, overseeing day to day activities are carried out by self and team
- The team is carrying out tasks promptly
- Oversee laundry area, wash, fold, and put away
Skills Required in Kennel Attendants
- Should be mentally, emotionally and physically stable and have the patience to deal with all types of animals
- Loving and caring and should have a basic understanding of animal handling and animal care
- Ability to work in different work settings and handle all the assigned responsibilities individually
- Sound understanding of the hygiene to be maintained and the ability to identify health issues with the animals
- Ability to supervise and interact with the animals
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
