Lead RDA

Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical history
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Perform basic laboratory tasks such as pouring models and fabricating temporary crowns
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
- Maintain a clean and organized dental operatory

Skills:
- Proficiency in Dentrix or similar dental software for scheduling appointments and managing patient records
- Knowledge of aseptic technique to maintain a sterile environment during procedures
- Experience in dental assisting, including chairside assisting, instrument passing, and four-handed dentistry
- Familiarity with pediatric dental procedures and techniques
- Strong understanding of dental anatomy and terminology
- Ability to take accurate vital signs, such as blood pressure and pulse rate
- Knowledge of infection control protocols to prevent the spread of diseases in the dental office
- Competence in medical imaging techniques, including digital radiography

The ideal candidate will have experience in a dental office setting, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to work well in a fast-paced environment. Please note that this is not an entry-level position. Prior experience as a Dental Assistant is required. Certification or licensure as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not mandatory.
