We are looking for a dynamic IT professional to join our Cloud Analytics platform team as a Product Manager. As a Product Manager, you must have a passion for data analytics and data science and share our enthusiasm for turning data into our most powerful asset for our organization. Specifically, this role will sit in the Claims and Leave Data Domain where we currently have two scrum teams who support initiatives related to Claims, Consumer, and Leave Management solutions and data integrations. The Product Manager will partner with Architects and Experience Owners to build strategic plans and product delivery roadmaps in the form of Storyboards, Epics, backlogs, and roadmaps, enabling the use of data, data science and analytics across various types of reporting and analytics initiatives.
Successful candidates in this role will use their knowledge of data, product management, agile methodologies and frameworks, planning, deep understanding of business domains, and interpersonal skills to develop and prioritize product artifacts (epics, features, hypothesis statements, user stories, etc.) for further refinement and elaboration by the Product Owners. Responsibilities
- Product ownership of the evolution of our data products, serving as a subject matter expert and "voice of the market".
- Responsible for driving the vision, strategy, design, implementation, and sustainment of data products with leadership and working teams.
- Prioritize, refine, and manage the product backlog.
- Interview users, stakeholders, and business leaders to understand everyone’s key priorities, capabilities, limitations, and overall vision.
- Work with product owners to articulate the specifics of a feature and the value it delivers thru sprint and product demos.
- Partner with Business Analytics and Operational teams and users to help them adopt and get the most value from our data wrangling and data visualization tools.
- Lead compelling demos, guiding other Product Managers and Product Owners within our ART to showcase cross-team demos of common data areas.
- Work with scrum masters and agile teams to ensure product artifacts meet the definition of ready and definition of done.
- Develop and track progress against a product roadmap to build enhancing capabilities over time.
- Develop new product ideas and data use cases, and advocate for the use of data and advanced analytics inside and outside the organization.
- Research industry trends, emerging products and solutions, new practices for how to consume and produce data for varying business and technical needs.
- Manage impediments and problems, resolve issues, and fix broken processes where possible.
- Champion and provide coaching on agile methodology and lean practices among business and technical partners as well as peers.
- Be open to feedback from business partners, teams, and peers; willing to give feedback.
- Participate in agile ceremonies; provide coaching where applicable.
- Align with other product managers when needed from an overall product, organization, or cross-ART perspective.
- Experienced in all areas of the Product Delivery Process in both Strategy and Execution.
- Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products.
- Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, including storytelling, relationship-building, influence, and negotiation.
- Ability to balance multiple competing priorities while maximizing value.
- Ability to develop deep business expertise and provide thought partnership around the use of data to solve problems and drive improvements.

- Big Data project experience preferred.

- Ability to review queries and query results and identify data patterns, data anomalies.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Hands-on experience with Data Science tools, Python, PySpark, Athena Query Console, Analytic tools like Redshift, Data wrangling tools like Trifacta/Domino/Informatica/Alteryx, BI tools such as Tableau and AWS QuickSight.
- Outcome oriented with the ability to drill down from the big picture to specific details, looking to drive innovation and compelling demonstrations.
